Development Strategy

Our strategy for the development of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics and the GB AGG Federation is underpinned by three key pillars.

GB Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Union

Participation

Growing the sport is fundamental to what we do. We believe getting enthusiastic and dynamic Gymnastic clubs on board, across the country is key to the long-term growth of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics.

We will aim to achieve a regular membership of 20 gymnastics clubs, with more than 500 gymnasts participating in national level competitions, by 2025.

People

We know that a lack of qualified Coaches and Judges will hold back the growth and development of AGG in Britain.

We will endeavour to organise regular camps across the country with experienced international instructors to deliver high-quality tutorials.

By 2021, we aim to achieve an increased number of active, qualified, licenced Coaches and Judges to support the growth and development of AGG.

Performance

To support the performance pathway, we will create competitive structures which support elite gymnast development.

We will re-establish Britain as a host of major international events, and will structure domestic competitions to replicate international standards.

Our competition structure will provide the right level of opportunities for all gymnasts.

Sport for everybody!

One of our main aims, is to make the sport of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics accessible and inclusive for all.

By 2030, we want to create a development program to help disabled gymnasts be involved and regularly participate in competitions.

We are looking to build a number of strategic partnerships to help us achieve this aim. If you can help please contact us.
